Longfellow Student Poetry Awards

Join us for the Longfellow Student Poetry Awards on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Longfellow House-Washington’s Headquarters National Historic Site in Cambridge, MA.

This annual event celebrates the creativity of young poets. It features readings by elementary, middle, and high school students who have won the Longfellow Student Poetry Contest. The ceremony will conclude with the presentation of the Victor Howes Prize to an outstanding undergraduate poet.

The event is co-sponsored by the Frank Buda Memorial Fund, New England Poetry Club, Friends of the Longfellow House-Washington’s Headquarters, and the National Park Service. Admission is free, and no registration is required.
