NEPC in Worcester: Mandy Gutmann-González, K. T. Landon, Janet MacFadyen

Please join the New England Poetry Club on November 1, 2026, as we rejoin the Worcester County Poetry Association for a reading at the Salisbury House. The reading is free and open to the public. An open mic will follow the featured poets. The building has limited access, with steps leading to the entrance.

Mandy Gutmann-González is a Chilean poet and novelist working at the intersections of text, performance, archive, and translation. A CantoMundo and MacDowell fellow, they are the author of the forthcoming poetry collections O/CCULT (Omnidawn) and Out, Little Spear! (Host Publications), the chapbook A/An (End of the Line Press), and the novel La Pava (Ediciones Inubicalistas). They teach creative writing at Clark University.

T. Landon’s debut collection, Abide, was selected by Kim Addonizio as the winner of the 2025 Richard Snyder Memorial Poetry Prize and was published by Ashland Poetry Press in September. Her poems have appeared in The Southern Review, The Sun, New Ohio Review, Nimrod, North American Review, Narrative, and Best New Poets, among others. Her work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net, and she is a reader for Lily Poetry Review. She received her MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts.

Janet MacFadyen is the author of four full-length collections—most recently Love Letters to the Wild (Dos Madres, 2025) and State of Grass (Salmon Poetry, 2024)—and four chapbooks, including two photo-poetry collaborations with the photographer Stephen Schmidt. Honors include a Massachusetts Cultural Council grant, a Cill Rialaig residency, and a 7-month Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center fellowship. Her poems appear widely, most recently in SWIMM, Slant, Osiris, Dark Matter: Women Witnessing, The Tiny Seed, and Scientific American. She has been nominated for the Best of the Net, Pushcart, and Forward prizes, and is the managing editor of Slate Roof Press, a member-run chapbook publisher. In another life, she was a rock hound and worked for a meteorological instrument manufacturer.
