Michelle Courtney Berry was the second Poet Laureate of Tompkins County, New York, and is a former Cave Canem Fellow. Her poetry has appeared in the Oxford AmericanPaterson Literary ReviewObsidian II, and in anthologies from Northwestern University Press, Random House, and the University of Michigan Press. Her work is forthcoming in The Missouri Review. A two-time Archie D. and Bertha H. Walker Foundation Fellow at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown and a Hurston/Wright Foundation Fellow, Michelle lives in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State.
