Discover The Silver Note: Poets of Arlington

Arlington, MA, has a rich literary tradition. Now you can explore it in The Silver Note: Poets of Arlington, Mass, a newly published poetry anthology featuring the works of 55 contemporary poets from the town and six poets from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Curated by Arlington Poet Laureate Jean Flanagan, The Silver Note brings together a diverse range of voices, from well-established poets to those published for the first time.

The collection was inspired by the artistic and cultural efforts leading up to Arlington’s commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the Battles of Lexington, Concord, and Menotomy. With the support of Ibbetson Street Press and ArtsArlington, this anthology highlights the incredible talent in our community.

Inside, you’ll find poetry from celebrated writers such as Fred Marchant, Steven Ratiner, Jean Flanagan, Andy Oram, Teresa Cader, Trapper Markeliz, and many more. Whether you’re a long-time poetry lover or new to the genre, The Silver Note offers a unique and moving glimpse into the creative spirit of Arlington, Mass.
