Kate Chadbourne, NEPC member, is running an online poetry celebration for the month of April.
There are two main elements: 1. a weekly video featuring poems from our poetry community and by a “poetry guide” (a contemporary poet we can read and learn from), as well as a poetry “spark” (prompt) and a poetry dare. Here’s a link to yesterday’s video which features the wonderful Carol Ann Duffy:
2. Poets can participate by sending her poems each week by Sunday at 5 pm (to kate@katechadbourne.com). At the end of the month she’ll be drawing two names out of a hat and awarding to each winner a beautiful journal made by the woman-run journal company, Jumping Fox Design.
