Poems on Postcards Contest & A Preview

This contest merges poetry with postcards.  This new Peterborough Poetry Project contest has begun and ends September 25th. See the “Poems on Postcards Contest” info on our “Contests” page at peterboroughpoetryproject.org. This one tests your ability to write succinctly. The challenge is to write and submit a previously unpublished short poem on the theme of keeping in touch with people. Mail entry only; no fee to enter – contest is open across the country to anyone with a valid U.S mailing address. Due to the small available space on the front of a postcard, there are lots of parameters. See website for details.
PREVIEW:
We may publish a quarterly series of chapbook anthologies on different themes, accompanied by a column on writing tips by published authors per book. We will be soliciting poems and subscribers, but will also sell single books. We’re trying to gauge interest; send an email to peterboroughpoetry@gmail.com if you are interested in this concept.
