Share your news
Members with new publications, awards, and events are welcome to share their news on our site.
We have simplified how we collect member news and ask that you follow the guidelines. When possible, we will post your news in the Member News or Events section of the website and share it on social media. If you don’t submit a press-ready blurb, however, we cannot guarantee it will get published.Â
There are two ways of submitting your news:
The first button below the formatting instructions requires you to have a Google-associated account and allows you to enter your news AND upload your graphic if you have a book cover or other promotional graphic. This method is preferred.
If you do not have a Google-associated account, you can use the second button and enter your news. If you use this method, you will ALSO need to send your graphic as an attachment to membernews@nepoetryclub.org in order to get your associated graphics displayed with your Member News.

Graphic Guidelines: Recommended size: 1200 x 630 pixels. Minimum size: 600 x 315 pixels. JPEG/PNG Format.
Formatting Your News
Please enter the publication news required by the form for your type of news. If you use the first button below and you have a book cover or other promotional graphics, you can upload it via that form. Otherwise, you will need to email it, as specified above.
Here are some examples of the information the format required for submission:
NEPC Member Name’s “Poem Title” appears in the latest edition of Journal Title, published on Date.
NEPC Member Name’s “Poem Title”, published in Journal Title on Date, was nominated for “Award Name” from Press Name.
NEPC Member Name’s “Book Title” published by Publisher Name, available now. This is the poet’s first book.
NEPC Member Name’s “Book Title” published by Publisher Name was nominated for an Award from Press Name.
Formatting Your Events
Please format your events as specified below. If we don’t have all the information, we cannot share your event.
Bold your name, the date, and the time, complete address of venue or where to get the zoom link, accessibility, and a graphic in jpeg or png format. (Include the time zone, especially for online events.) If you have a web page for more information, include the link.
Here are some examples:
NEPC Member Name will read in person on Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. EDT as part of the Reading Series at the Location (full address). The location is accessible and masks are required. [Link]
NEPC Member Name will read with Name, Name, Name, on July 16 at 8 PM CT as part of the Reading Series/Event Name. The event will take place on Zoom. Registration is required. [Link]
NEPC Member Name will read in person on this date as part of their book launch. The reading is hybrid and registration is required. [Link]
NEPC Member Name will teach a workshop in person on this date and time, located at Place and Address. The reading is hybrid and registration is required. [Link]
About the Forms
This button allows you to enter your Member News and upload your .jpeg. It requires you to be signed into Google. If you do not have a Google account, please use the second button below, “Submit Your News – No Upload”.
The button below allows you to enter your Member News when you do not have a Google account. If you DO HAVE a Google account, please use the “Submit Your News” button above.
